Nancy A. Bronson Mulligan(1948 - 2010)
Nancy A. Mulligan was a native of South Miami, FL. During her childhood, she
enjoyed spending time with her family at their cabin in the Everglades. She
graduated from Southwest Miami Senior High School and later attended Miami Dade
Community College. Upon moving to Boston, she attended Stewardess Training
School, which led to a career in the airline industry from which she retired in
2001, after 33 years of service with Northeast and Delta Airlines. During that
career, she married (later years divorced) and moved to Connecticut where she
was very close to her mother-in-law, Agnes Mulligan. After her daughter (Jaycee)
was born, she returned to Miami and pursued her childhood passion of caring for
and breeding award winning Basset Hounds. She was an active member of many dog
organizations including: Basset Hound Club of America, South Florida Basset
Hound Club, South Dade Kennel Club and Miami Obedience Club. She was also a
long-standing member of The Delta Diamonds Retirees/Flight Attendants. On May 6,
2010, at the age of 61, Nancy passed away at her home. She leaves to mourn her
devoted daughter, Jaycee; son-in-law, Darin; grandson, Luke; brother, Jimmy
Bronson (Marie); a host of Bronson relatives; a devoted friend, Kirk Joiner; a
devoted caregiver Dezlin; and of course the passion of her beloved dogs as well
as a host of sorrowing relatives and friends. She will be laid to rest next to
her mother and father at Miami Memorial Park, South Miami. Burial Arrangements
have been made with Palms Woodlawn Funeral Home.
